We’re excited to share that in February, as part of the development of Atlantic City Electric’s Smart Energy Network, we will begin installing new smart meters for our customers in sections of Maurice River Township which include Delmont, Dorchester, Heislerville, and Leesburg the week of February 6th. The tentative schedule for installation of smart meters for the other communities in Maurice River Township will be in Summer 2023.  Here’s what you need to know:

• Customers will receive several notifications explaining that their upgrade is about to take place and what they can expect during the installation process.
• No action is required from customers to complete the upgrade.
• Customers may experience a brief service outage lasting no more than a few minutes while the new meter is being installed.
